„Brucia la Terra“ (Burn the Earth) is an authentic Sicilian ballad from the town of Corleone. It is a song written for The Godfather (1972), the first film in The Godfather trilogy.
This acoustic arrangement is made in a swing feel with fingerstyle technique. Right hand fingering is included in tabs.
When I made this arrangement I was trying to put the accent on the melody while keeping the harmony in groove. I believe this way it has more interesting sound when played on one instrument, breaking the original melancholic feel.
